The World of Muses
Exhibition The World of Muses opening takes place on 5h of April at 5 pm. The World of Muses is the first exhibition curated by the Tartu Art Museum’s Youth Club. The idea of the exhibition is to show how different but equally inspiring women have been depicted in artworks. At the same time as our exhibition, the museum is also showing Among Ourselves. Woman Portraying a Woman that inspired us to choose a theme that would create a dialogue between the two shows. All the paintings are from Tartu Art Museum collection.
The young curators were Liisa-Lota Jõeleht, Saskia Kolberg, Killu Simson and Liisa Veddel. They were supervised by Hanna-Liis Kont and Kristel Sibul.

The Tartmus Youth Club provides a gathering place and activities for young people who are interested in visual culture and its various realms. The content of the activities is developed by the participants based on their own interests.
The Youth Club is sponsored by Tartu city government.
