Sculpture workshop

Does the idea of an artwork decide the matter or the other way around?

The French sculptor porte renaud will conduct a workshop in Tartmus, in which he will give sense to different materials and their usage in art. The artist will introduce theoretical perspectives and his own creations to offer a creative view into sculpting. With the assistance of the sculptor, you can try for yourself, how working with different matters feels like. Clay and plaster will be in use primarily, but you are welcome to bring your own choice of materials too.

The workshop is in English.

The event will take place on the 25th July at 5pm in Tartu Art Museum’s education room (1st floor). Participation is free of charge, however it does not include visiting any exhibitions.
