On the 7th and 8th of August, we are inviting families to the Tartu Art Museum (Raekoja plats 18) to meet Swedish artists Lundahl & Seitl and experience their immersive work Symphony of a Missing Room. Look at an introductory video of the work here. The meetings are part of the project Creative Connections that is in the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme.
We are looking for up to 8 families, 2-5 participants from each family: children aged 6-10 and with them parents as well as older sisters-brothers or also grandparents. Each family can register HERE for an individual time slot. The meeting takes 75 minutes per family. Participation is for free and all the contributing families will get a gift from the organisers.
The aim of the meetings is to develop the work Symphony of a Missing Room, which uses sound, light and choreography to create a total sensory experience. The meetings will take place in either English or Estonian and are mediated by the members of the project team and dancers from the Shaté Dance School.
A new version of the work will be presented during the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme in the autumn of 2024.
