Information for visitors with special needs

Tartu Art Museum is accessible with a wheelchair and transportation can be stopped in front of the entrance door. The museum does not have its own parking area. Parking is available on Kompanii street (A area) and in other paid parking spaces around the museum. More information about parking can be found on the homepage of the city of Tartu.

Visitors in wheelchair can enter the museum through our main entrance using a ramp. The main entrance is on Kompanii street.

Museum has a remote controlled wheelchair lift for moving between all the floors. All our galleries are wheelchair accessible.

Accessible toilet is located on the ground floor.

Museum is accessible by car

 

You can enter the Tartu Art Museum with a baby stroller through both the entrance on Kompanii Street and the entrance facing Town Hall Square. Please note that there are steps at the entrance, which may make access to the museum difficult, and assistance may be required. The baby stroller can be stored on the first floor in the unattended cloakroom or foyer.

Please inform the museum beforehand if you plan to visit with a guide dog.
