On Tartu City Day (28.-29.06), you can enjoy the day, gather wisdom and enjoy good concerts in Tartu, the candidate to be the European Capital of Culture. Tartu Art Museum is organizing 2 curator tours to an exhibition Pallas 100. Art School and Its Legend!
This year, Tartmus celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Pallas Art School with an exhibition held in all of our three floors that introduces the legendary art school, its students, teachers and gives an overview of the topical issues from that time era. In total, nearly 300 items will be exhibited, including paintings and sculptures by Pallasians, as well as photographs of Pallas students, teachers and founders.
There will be two curatorial tours:
June 28 at 5 pm a tour by the curator Hanna-Liis Kont.
June 29 at 3 pm a tour by the curator Joanna Hoffmann.
The event is free of charge!
